This balancing "samana" class is steady, centering, and lighthearted with a focus on rebalancing posture and easing stress. Typically starts with gentle stretches and mindful body engagement, moving into modified sun salutations and various sequences to help you strengthen, stretch, align, and connect with breath. The perfect class to wrap up your day or simply create more space for yourself.
Functional Joy Flow, Tuesdays 12 noon. Duration: 45 min Required: Yoga mat Optional: Two yoga blocks, blanket or bolster, yoga strap or long band
Join me to connect to your strength and vitality! Practice functional movement that focuses on alignment while giving you the freedom to flow steadily with your breath. Steady-paced and breath-centered with just the right amount of “brahmana” heat and challenge to ease tension, cultivate positive energy and a calm focus. Great if you work at a desk or do repetitive movements all day.

Mindfully move your body and slow… your…. roll…. Avoid burnout by cultivating brain-body-breath awareness and regulate your nervous system for stress resilience. Grounding “langhana” practices and relaxing stretches to anchor a scattered mind and lighten mood; various poses and sequences intended to release excess tension and draw vital prana energy throughout your body. (Optional breath practice for last 15 minutes)
