Jeannie Lee, Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT

Brain-Body-Breath Stress Management Specialist on a mission to create more sustainable joy in the world.

I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii and graduated with a Marketing Communications degree. After more than 15 years in my corporate career in Hawaii and California, I reassessed my path and embarked on an exploration of self. I experienced the physical toll of deskwork aggravated by scoliosis, running injuries, chronic stress and worry, loss of identity, and shifts in relationships. I rediscovered yoga and deepened my practice, giving me the tools to embrace greater resilience, deeper self-awareness and a new mission of health and wellness. My goal is to help others enrich body, mind and spirit in profound ways with a practical, thoughtful, and lighthearted approach.

Prana is the universal life energy within and around you. It’s the energy that beats your heart, drives your nervous system, feeds your tissues, and fills your breath. It’s the invisible glue that powerfully connects you to YOU. Through practical brain-body-breath practices and beyond, we cultivate prana and empowering skillsets of physical adaptation, energy regulation, mental focus, self-governance and habit change towards our goals.

Jeannie’s studied for Yoga Therapist certification with AlcheMe Yoga Therapy at Be The Change Yoga in Irvine, California. These studies infuse therapeutic approaches with lifestyle mentoring and habit change, welding all of her knowledge thus far.

She draws knowledge from her 300-hour Yoga Therapy Rx program lead by Larry Payne at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, specializing in supporting people with conditions such as stress, chronic pain, heart disease, diabetes, anxiety, and depression. 

Her studies also dive into nervous system resilience through certification as a Neurological Fitness™ Trainer with NeuroFit. NeuroFit offers a science backed approach based on Dr. Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory to help individuals master nervous system regulation through simple somatic release exercises, integration of habits, and insights into life aspects such as career, relationships, purpose, and others.

Furthering her studies with Michaelle Edwards at the Kaua'i Yoga School, she is also a certified YogAlign Instructor and takes joy in teaching individuals how to rediscover their natural posture through a dynamic breath-centered approach to neuromuscular movement and self healing.

Jeannie’s foundational yoga studies were carefully laid brick by brick with Brynn Rybacek in True Flow Yoga’s 200-hour yoga training in Newport Beach, California.

She holds certificates from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Health Coach and from the Irvine Valley College kinesiology program as a Fitness Specialist.
